Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) History Month takes place every February and celebrates the lives and achievements of LGBT people. People are taking action all over the country to mark LGBT History Month - here is a snapshot of what is going on in the North West.

Manchester Anti-Bullying Initiative highlights that Words Can Hurt

All this February it is LGBT History Month. Find out how you can celebrate the life and achievements of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people in your school!

 

Coronation Street stars Brooke Vincent, Sacha Parkinson and Antony Cotton are all taking action this Anti - Bullying Week (Nov 15-19), and supporting Exceeding Expectations work in Manchester schools challenging the issue of homophobic bullying.

Next week (November 15-19th) is Anti-Bullying Week and Exceeding Expectations Anti-Homophobic Bullying project will be in Manchester schools helping to eradicate all forms of bullying

November 2nd saw the pre-launch of LGBT History Month at Twickenham Rugby ground - for the next two years the event will have a sports theme.
